Classes Taught

General chemistry, analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, basic organic chemistry, physical chemistry, environmental chemistry, Frisbee, science and history of alcohol, advanced laboratory, and introductory science courses for non-majors.

Current Research

Environmental issues including a geochemical analysis of the Canacadea Watershed, phytoplankton uptake of heavy metals for remediation, PCB and heavy metal contamination in sport fish of Lake Erie, thermal degradation of polymer on art-based substrates

Faculty Service

Promotion and Tenure Committee, Scholastic Standards Committee, Advisor to the Frisbee (Disc) club, Hockey club, Swing Dance club, Skateboard club, and cycling club, active with the Children's Learning Initiative outreach program bringing science and college experience to at risk youth of Steuben and Allegany County, and volunteer in my children's schools. 


My kids, sailing, biking, paddling, hiking, traveling, cooking/baking, gardening, ice skating, xc skiing, glassblowing, reading, and woodworking.
