I cannot remember a moment in my life when teaching was not what I hoped to one day do as my profession.  I grew up on Long Island; so the rural nature of Alfred was a shock to me at first-but I now have come to love.  The lack of traffic, the clean air and the endless list of things to do outdoors are things I've come to treasure.
