Track II
The Track II Program at Alfred University is a truly unique educational experience that offers you an opportunity – and a challenge – to design and direct your own academic major. It is an independent, self-initiated academic program in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences that is individualized, flexible, yet carefully structured and supervised.

In contrast to most traditional majors that are designed by the faculty and have pre-established course requirements, Track II offers an open curriculum that allows you to work with your faculty advisors to select courses and alternative learning experiences to meet your personal educational goals and career objectives most effectively. We give you a guide to help you out.

You’ll find the personal and individualized attention that comes from working with an interdisciplinary three-member Faculty Advisory Board adds significantly to the quality and value of your overall educational experience. Employers and graduate schools have been impressed by the initiative, distinctiveness, and experience of graduates of this program.
