The
public law minor seeks to provide an understanding
of the role of law in American society. You will
examine major court decisions, the structure of
the nation's legal systems, and theoretical assumptions
about law. It is one of the many interdisciplinary
majors and minors AU offers.
Interested in law as a career? Alfred Univesity offers a special pre-law advising program for students who are considering applying to law school. Beginning your first year, you will be assigned an advisor who will help you plan your program, regardless of the major you choose.
