Dienemann Memorial Scholarship In The Performing Arts
In honor of Kay Dienemann, a graduate of the class of 1927, who was a performer and member of numerous theatre guilds in New York and Florida.
Purpose of award is to provide financial assistance to students studying in the Performing Arts
Requirements: full time student with B average, rising Junior or Senior, and demonstrated commitment to the Performing Arts
Recipient is selected by the Division of Performing Arts' faculty.

The Henry and Agnes Guenther Scholarship in Performing Arts
Established by Henry Guenther - businessman, community leader, and patron of the arts - in memory of his wife, Agnes.
Purpose of award is to recognize and encourage diligent student creativity in the Theatre Arts
Requirements: Theatre major, full time student witn B average or higher, rising Junior or Senior
Recipient is selected by the Division of Performing Arts' faculty.

Howard Jon Schnabolk Memorial Award for Achievement in Theatre Arts at Alfred University
In memory of Howie Schnabolk, class of '65, former theatre lighting director, past President of the AU Footlight Club and Chair of its Executive Committee, who lost his life in Vietnam on August 3, 1967.
Purpose of award is to recognize and encourage diligent student creativity in the Theatre Arts.
Requirements: Full time theatre student in good standing;Sophomores, juniors, or seniors are eligible
Administration: Recipient selected by the Theatre faculty

Smith/Crapsey Endowed Undergraduate Research Award
Established by the Smith and Arthur Crapsey families, this award is in memory of C. Duryea Smith III, legendary, imaginative, and inspirational teacher and friend, whose work in theatre at Alfred University informed and guided the lives of generations of Alfred students.
Purpose of award: To provide funding for research in the Performing Arts or in drama as literature
Requirements:
- Awarded to a rising senior for a worthy research project
- Submit a proposal by April 15th of the Junior year for the intended research project
- Project must be completed before graduation
- Results of research will be presented orally to the University community; a final, bound,
written copy will be retained in the library
- Provide a transcript showing academic record
- A letter of faculty endorsement must accompany the proposal
Administration:
- Selected by a committee, comprised of the LAS Dean, members of the Smith and Crapsey families, the English and Performing Arts Chairs, and a representative of the Library

In memory of Nancy Arnold Borrelli.
Purpose of Award: This endowed scholarship provides financial assistance to a student interested in music
Requirements: Full-time student, rising Junior or Senior, B average or higher, actively studying music and participating in the music program
