The Bergren Forum sponsored by the Division of Human Studies, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Provost Office will be meeting at 12:10 PM on Thursday April 13th in Susan Howell Hall.

Bring a brown bag lunch, coffee and tea will be provided.

Acclaimed jazz pianist Dave Frank will talk and about and demonstrate jazz piano improvisation.

Dave Frank (www.davefrankjazz.com) is a superb jazz pianist who is also a world-famous music educator in improvisation. He is the author of the best-selling Hal Leonard book and video series, “Joy of Improv” and “Breakthrough to Improv.” From 1987 to 2004, he served as an Associate Professor of piano at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He, then, moved to New York and formed the Dave Frank School of Jazz in NYC, which provides music education to folks all over the world.
