General Option 1. Core Requirements ECON 201 - Principles of Economics - Micro 2. Additional Courses 12 credits from any combination of 300+ level Economics, ACCT 211, MKT 321, FIN 348, and up to 2 courses in political science and/or sociology to be chosen in consultation with the advisor. A grade of C or better must be achieved in all courses. Note for students with a 2nd major outside LAS: you will need to earn a double degree, with a minimum of 148 total semester hours. Business OptionThe major is offered by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. In addition to completing the College's General Education requirements, the following must be satisfied in order to earn a major in the study of Economics: 1. Core Requirements ECON 201 - Principles of Economics - Micro 2. Additional Courses Calculus (e.g. MATH 151) course:_____________________ Two additional 300+ level Economics courses. A grade of C or better must be achieved in all courses. Note for students with a 2nd major outside LAS: you will need to earn a double degree, with a minimum of 148 total semester hours. Mathematical Economics OptionThe major is offered by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
