| As
a Criminal Justice Studies major, you will examine
types of criminal behavior in terms of environmental
influences that foster such behavior; social and
governmental efforts at control; and what practices
work to rehabilitate offenders. In general, you will
learn to apply social sciences' findings to the problems
of criminal behavior. Our major also provides for
practical experience, so you will have a chance to
apply classroom knowledge to actual situations.
As an interdisciplinary major, Criminal Justice Studies draws faculty from many fields within the social sciences. |
